Over 80% of people surveyed said they walk at least every other day, with 53% reporting they walk every day.


The majority, over 53% report they walk over 3+ miles.
More people walk for the physical health then their mental health.


The majority of people like to walk with company, followed by a non-destination walk. However, they are not mutually exclusive. A person can do both.
Walking clearly gives people more energy.

Most people do not consider themselves athletes, but they do consider themselves walkers.
Over 90% of those surveyed reported walking reduces stress.
